  • Fortifying admixture.
  • May be used with gypsum plasters.
  • Creates strong chemical bond.
  • Ready to use.
  • Economical.

Components
and Storage
Available in 1 gallon bottles and 5 gallon pails. Do not store in direct sunlight. Storage temperature should be between 50° F (10° C) and 90° F (32°C). Protect from freezing. Shelf life is approximately 2 years with proper storage.
Bonding Agent
Coverage
It will cover approximately 250 to 300 sq. ft. (23 - 27.6 m2) per gallon on smooth surfaces. Porous surfaces, and those with coarse textures will require more material.
Bonding Agent Usage
When used as a bonding agent, Mighty Bond undiluted will cover approximately 250 to 300 square feet (23 - 27.6 m2) per gallon. Note: Coarse or porous surfaces may require more material.
Surface Preparation
All receiving surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, loose stone, deteriorating paint or other contaminants which could hinder bonding ability. Surface cracks, holes or voids should be repaired. Smooth or painted surfaces must be cleaned in an abrasive manner (high pressure water blast, scraping, sanding or sandblasting) to open surface pores and allow for a good bond.
Bonding Agent Application
For maximum strength apply undiluted to substrate using brush, roller, or low pressure spray equipment. Lightly dampen substrate (do not soak) prior to application. Apply new plaster or concrete material while Mighty Bond is still tacky. If Mighty Bond dries prior to application of new plaster mixture, it may be re-emulsified by using a mist spray of clean, cool water. Mighty Bond will dry to the touch in approximately 30-60 minutes.
Admix Usage
As an admix to portland cement mixes, 1 or 2 gallons (3.8 to 7.6 ltr) may be added per each 90 lb. (40.8 kg) bag. Additive ratio depends on desired bonding strength and degree of impact resistance required.
Admix Mixing
Mighty Bond must be diluted with clean water before adding to mix. Do not add undiluted Mighty Bond to any mixture. Do not exceed 2 gallons of Mighty Bond per 94 lb. (40.8 kg.) sack of portland cement.
Clean Up
Clean all tool and equipment with detergent and water immediately after use. Clean up spills, spatters and overspray before it is allowed to dry.
Limitations
Do not use in areas which are constantly exposed to water or where hydrostatic pressure is present, such as swimming pools, spas, fountains or decorative ponds. Do not allow to freeze, and do not apply over frozen or frost filled surfaces. Do not use when ambient temperature will fall below 40° F (4° C) within 72 hours after application. Do not dilute. Do not apply over water soluble materials.
